Government Secondary School (G.S.S 1)

Bitrus, a student at GSS Minna II, describes the challenges the school faced due to a broken borehole: “Our school has only one borehole, and when it broke down, we faced a severe water shortage. This forced us to practice open defecation in the bush behind the school, as we had to walk long distances to get water and could not use the school’s toilets. 

We are so grateful to Lifewater Nigeria for their help in rehabilitating the borehole and providing us with fresh water. This has made a huge difference in our lives. We no longer have to walk long distances to get water, and we can finally use the school’s toilets.
