Dari Village (N22-P073)

Dari is a community in Niger State.

The community has been in dire need of clean water since the three wells broke down several months ago.

Before our intervention, the community depended on a river and rainwater. The use of river water for cooking and cleaning is highly associated with the risk of diarrhea and other water-borne diseases in the community.

Alarmingly, the insecurity in the North-central region of Nigeria makes a trek to the river to fetch water terrifying.

With the repairs, the community now has clean water for every household.
