Abubakar Saidu applied on behalf of his community for the assistance of Lifewater in solving the community’s water crisis.

He said, “The hand pump in our community is insufficient because it is the only hand pump serving four communities living. Our children have been going to school late as they first have to draw water from a distant river before resuming school every day.”

With the new well drilled and installed, children in the community have stopped missing school hours due to the lack of water. For Saidu and many others in the community, our intervention has transformed their lives as it has stopped drinking unsafe water; and waterborne infections.

The community thanked Lifewater Canada and the donors for ending their water crisis.
