LUGAVO Cooperatives is an organization that has impacted over 500 women and children in the area of sustainable enterprise and agriculture.

However, LUGAVO has been a dire water scarcity for the past five years.

Sometimes, because of the lack of safe water, people use drainage water to wash utensils in LUGAVO. Skin diseases associated with unsafe water are prevalent in the LUGAVO community.

Efforts to get the government’s assistance failed with no positive response.

Our intervention was a pleasant surprise as the community had lost all hope of getting safe water.

With the new well in the community, LUGAVO Cooperatives and its members can now drink and use safe water without the fear of waterborne diseases.
