IMPACT STORY

“My name is Agnes Alhaji, and I live in the Rili Kawo Community. We have not had clean water in our community for a long time. The community stream is dangerous and unsanitary for drinking, and we must get up very early in the morning to find water from other sources. This means that we do not get enough sleep, and our children often skip school because they do not have enough water to bathe or wash their school clothes. 

I am so grateful to Lifewater for coming to our community and repairing our borehole. This has given us access to clean water for the first time in years. I am no longer worried about my children getting sick from drinking dirty water, and they can now attend school regularly. I am also able to get a good night’s sleep, which means that I am more productive at work. 

We are so grateful for the kind efforts of Lifewater. They have made a real difference in our lives, and we are so thankful for their help. God bless and continue to increase the organization greatly.”
