Darul-Salam

Godiya is from Darul-Salam, a community with a severe water scarcity. Godiya said, “We have been experiencing severe water scarcity in our town because there are no dependable sources of water. The stream water we use was unclean and full of bacteria, which caused typhoid and other waterborne diseases. We were forced to travel to a far stream to get water, which took our productive time and energy. The scarcity of water also prevented us from engaging in other tasks like farming and schooling.
