Kpakungu 1

I am Amina Mohammed, a resident of the Kpakungu community. We have been experiencing severe water shortage for some time. 

For months, we have had to wait in long lines to collect water, which often runs out before it is our turn. The stream is too far away from the community and unclean to drink. The cost of purchasing water from a truck pusher is high, and not everyone can afford it. 

Our children arrive at school looking messy and uncared for because they do not have enough water to bathe or wash their clothes. 

We are very grateful to Lifewater Nigeria for rehabilitating our borehole. This has made a big difference in our lives. We now have access to clean water, and we do not have to spend hours waiting in line to collect it.
