Water Project
The People of Mandara in the Akwanga area of Nasarawa State have suffered from a lack of water for about two decades. The community depended on hand-dug wells and a distant river for water. Many children in the community go to school without having their bathed. Using alum for purifying water is prevalent in Mandara.
There are reports of cases of rashes, itchy bodies, and diarrhea caused by the use of unclean water in the community. With our intervention, their pain and frustration are now a thing of the past. Today, safe water flows in Mandara.
