Malam Yakubu Auta, the village head of the Koroko community, was in deep joy for the rehabilitation of their hand pumps.
Before our intervention, the community depended on a distant river with severe consequences to the health, education, vitality, and productivity of women and children of the community.
The women were fighting among themselves over access to the existing water source.
The rehab is the beginning of a new dawn in the community. While praying for our team, Malam Yakubu Auta said, “God will bless your organization for what you have done for us.”
The community appreciates Lifewater Canada for the donation and pleaded for more assistance.
