N23-R082 Imani Gawu

Imani Gawu has experienced severe water scarcity since their hand pump broke down five years ago. Alternatively, the community depended on hand-dug wells and one open stream for water.  

The stream water is contaminated and unhealthy for human consumption. Many in the community have resigned to their fate before our intervention. They just drink the water and suffer ailments that takes them to the hospital. 

With our intervention, the fear of ailments resulting from unsafe water consumption is gone. Today, there is safe water in the community.
