N23-R083 Dawaki Gawu

The Angwan Dawaki Gawu community hand pump has been in disrepair for two years without intervention. Since the hand pump broke down, the residents collect water from rivers and ponds.  

Despite the awareness of the negative effect of drinking dirty and contaminated water, the residents have continued to draw from the same water sources because they really do not have a choice. 

Our intervention has brought their water crisis to an end. Today there is enough water and safe for the residents.
