Koko is a settlement in Nasarawa State that has suffered water scarcity for many years. The members of this community derive their water from a small and dirty river that passes through Koko.
Residents have suffered from stomach ache, rashes, and purging as a result of the water from the river. During the dry season, the water from the river dries up, making it hard to get sufficient water.
During our visit, we drilled two wells to bring safe and accessible water to the growing members of the Koko community.
The community appreciates the kind gesture and prays for Lifewater Canada
