Ejiro Kingsley is a resident of Angwan Kashu Kilankwa II. She said, “For years, we have suffered water scarcity. The women trek to the stream for water. But water in the stream is seasonal as the water dries up during the dry season.”

The water scarcity in Kilankwa is particularly severe in the dry season. Women go far distances in search of water. The residents spend a lot of time and energy just looking for water to cater for their household, sometimes with adverse consequences.

The children are not left out; most miss school or go to school without having baths.

With the new well, residents can live healthier lives; and spend more time with their families. The community is grateful for the donation and prayed that God blesses the donors.
