Kata is a settlement along the Abuja-Kaduna expressway. Despite our previous intervention in this community, their water scarcity persist.

The absence of water and sanitation facilities meant the women and children in Kata walked hours daily for water. Day in and day out, the routine consumed their lives. Worse still, the water is not clean and often makes families sick.

The hand pump in the community is not enough for the growing population. We decided to add a new well for greater access to safe water for the residents.

With our intervention, children will be able to spend more time concentrating on their studies, and women will be more productive in their lives.
