For many years City Orphanage community has suffered from a severe water shortage. The government’s ineptitude in providing fundamental and life-saving amenities has affected this vulnerable community.

Magret, the founder of the Orphanage, was full of praise for the swift response of Lifewater Nigeria to their plead for a well. She said, ” Request to the government takes more than two years to get a negative or positive response. But here we are today, an organization is giving us water for free, without stress.”

She added, “Whosoever gives water, give life…you have given us lives, and we a grateful. ”

The newly drilled well is the first of its kind in the community and will serve many people who have experienced a lack of safe water for many years.
