Nakopita community

My name is Salome Joshua from the Nakopita community. 

My community has been experiencing a water crisis ever since the community well broke down. Due to a severe water deficit, there was no water available for drinking, cooking, or other household tasks. Because of the bad quality of the river water, it made us sick and gave our kids cholera and continuous diarrhea. 

I am overjoyed that Lifewater has rehabilitated the communal borehole. We would not have had the chance to use good, clean water if it weren’t for the organization. I pray that God will bless the organization, provide for it, and replenish its finances. 

I pray that God will continue to bless Lifewater and enable them to continue their important work. I also pray for my community, that we will be able to enjoy the gift of clean water for many years to come.
