Repair Project in AGON Community, Obi

Impact Story

My name is Oshu Ajaku. I live in the AGON community in Obi LGA. Our community has suffered from a lack of clean drinking water. The water we get from the stream is dirty and full of germs. This water has caused a lot of problems for our children, who have contracted diseases such as cholera and diarrhea. We have had to spend money on medical care that we would have otherwise used to maintain our homes. Some children have even been killed while crossing the highway to get water. 

I am so grateful that Lifewater came to our community to help repair the broken borehole. Now, we have access to clean drinking water, and our children are no longer at risk of getting sick. Thank you, Lifewater, and God bless you.
