Repair Project in Anguwa Balawa Lapai

IMPACT STORY

My name is Saliya Musa. I live in Anguwa Balawa Lapai. I am writing to express my gratitude to Lifewater for repairing our community borehole. This has given us access to clean, portable drinking water again. 

Before the borehole was repaired, we depended on unsafe sources like streams and rivers. These sources were far away from the community, and our children were at risk of sexual assault and molestation due to the dangerous path they had to trek in search of water. 

The entire community is so happy and grateful for Lifewater’s help. Thank you, Lifewater, and God bless your organization. 

I am especially grateful for the work that Lifewater does to protect children. I know that my children are now safe from harm as they go to fetch water. 

I am also grateful for the clean, safe water that Lifewater has provided. This water has improved the health of our community. We are no longer sick from drinking contaminated water.
