Uke is a community along the Abuja-Keffi expressway. Access to the community river is only by walking across the ever-busy four-lane Abuja-Keffi Road.
Children have been hit and killed or badly hurt while trying to cross the road to collect water. The new boreholes will to a great extent, save lives in Uke.
